Our Responsibility

We are always learning and building on what it takes to make a quality garment for a diverse range of people while sticking to our strong vision for a sustainable and progressive society. We work on a slower fashion development model releasing ethically and sustainably produced micro collections of our seasonal basics.

The majority of our clothing is produced in Lima, Peru. Our vertically integrated manufacturer sources the highest quality Peruvian yarns including Pima cotton and local alpaca wool. They handle the fabric production, dying, cutting, sewing and finishing.

We have spent time at our manufacturing facility ensuring conditions are clean and safe for all. By working in Peru, we are supporting a country that is engaging in fair and transparent regulations for conditions for workers. We are supporting women technicians, paying fair wages, and developing more earth-friendly fabrications and innovations.

We also make small runs of clothing here in Nova Scotia where we live. By collaborating with designers and sewers in our immediate area our profits cycle back into our communities therefore helping our local economy. Our NS produced clothing is made with sustainable fabrics like GOTS certified organic cotton and Oeko-Tex fabrics. All of our swimwear fabrics are sourced from Italian mills.
